How many of you who own one or more of these furry, funny rodents have heard this admonition from your friends or relatives? Or, try these comments:
"I'd rather have grandchildren"
"Why don't you have NORMAL pets, like dogs or cats, or even hamsters?"
"I suppose your favorite movie is 'Ben'"
Oh, well. Some people just don't get it. Heck, even Einstein was mis-understood!
Now, why am I building this web site dedicated to Rattus norvegicus? A few reasons:
- A place on the Net to post pictures of our little friends, who, for a banana chip or a little cream cheese, will do the most AMAZING things!
- A chance to learn how to use FrontPage 98, Microsoft's "intuitive, easy-to-use" Web Page designer. Let's see if it's as simple as they say.
- A gnawing need to do something on the Internet!
