At our spring 1998 meeting, held (as usual) at Jean Smith's house in Berkeley, we took a few pictures of the goings on.
Marilyn, who is quite skillful with clay, and quite comical in her renditions, presented our hostess with her very own rat mug.
Jean, of course, was quite taken with the whole thing, as you can see here.
For anyone who has been to Jean's rat page (aka "A Rat's Guide to Responsible Human Ownership"), you'll know that her rats have her EXTREMELY well trained. Here, we see the proper way to take those nasty knots out of a rats fur. Besides, she also finds the brushing quite soothing, apparently.
